A mock is the whole exam paper (e.g. IELTS Full or Milliy sertifikat maths). A section test is one part of it (e.g. IELTS Reading or SAT Math). When your mocks run out, 3 section tests open 1 more mock.

HSK questions
Is this the official HSK?
No. Trylab is a practice platform. HSK is run by Chinese Testing International (chinesetest.cn). Our questions are original material in the exam’s format.
Does the result show my real score?
The result is an estimate: how many of the 100 Reading points you get and which question types you miss. The real exam scales its scores, so your actual score may differ a little.
Where are Listening and Writing?
Only Reading for now. Listening needs Chinese audio; Writing (HSK 3-6) comes later.
What score do I need to pass?
HSK 1-2: 120 out of 200, HSK 3-4: 180 out of 300 (Listening + Reading + Writing together). For HSK 5-6, 180 is often quoted too, but the official site does not state it. More than 60 in Reading is a good sign.
What about HSK 3.0 (the new HSK)?
The new-format HSK 1-6 is expected from the end of 2026; the test held regularly now is HSK 2.0, and our tests follow it. We will update them once the new format officially takes over.
