Preparation tips
- 01
Extend your answers: point → reason → example. One-word answers lower Fluency.
- 02
In the Part 2 minute, note 2-3 words for each point on the card.
- 03
You can ask to hear a question again - it doesn't cost marks.
- 04
Listen back to your recording: you'll hear the pauses and repeats yourself.
- 05
Speak naturally - examiners notice memorised answers.

FAQ
Do I need a microphone?
Yes - a phone or laptop microphone is enough. If it doesn't work, you can type your answer.
Is my voice stored?
No. The recording stays on your device and is never uploaded - only the text transcript is used for marking.
How accurate is the Speaking score?
It's an estimate: it shows which of the four criteria are strong and which need work, and doesn't guarantee an official result.
